Great guitars feel natural the moment you pick them up and that feeling starts long before the first cut is made. Every build begins with thoughtful design, precise decisions about scale length and geometry that determine intonation up the neck, comfortable action, and proper string tension. Small errors at this stage become permanent playability problems, so we eliminate them before the build ever begins.
From there, we turn to wood, the foundation of tone, sustain, and stability. We select resonant, properly seasoned body woods and carefully matched fretboards, because the quality of the raw material shapes everything that follows. Stable wood holds its tuning. Resonant body blanks respond dynamically to your playing. There are no shortcuts here.
Each body is then cut, shaped, and routed by hand. A properly carved body isn't just about aesthetics, it improves comfort during long sessions while maintaining the tonal balance the instrument was designed for. Equal care goes into the neck, which is truly the heart of the guitar. We install an adjustable truss rod for seasonal stability, glue and align the fretboard with precision, shape the neck profile entirely by hand, and carve and refine the headstock to match. The result determines how the guitar feels in your hands, how smoothly you move across positions, and how reliably it performs through climate changes. A well-built neck should feel effortless, never forced.
Once the neck is right, we turn to fretwork, arguably where good guitars become great ones.
Every fret is precisely seated, leveled for consistent action, crowned for accurate contact, and polished to a smooth finish.
